Cupboard Cook · Last updated 4 September 2026

Cupboard Cook (the App) is published by One Last Job (ABN 77 839 048 440), Victoria, Australia (we, us, our). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. What the App is

Cupboard Cook suggests recipes based on the ingredients, cuisine, meal type and dietary filters you choose, and provides step-by-step cooking guidance written for home cooks. The App is a general-information and educational tool. It is not a substitute for your own judgement, care and experience in the kitchen.

2. Cooking involves risk — you are in control of your kitchen

Cooking involves inherent risks, including but not limited to burns and scalds from hot surfaces, liquids, steam and oil; cuts from knives and equipment; fire; slips; and food-borne illness from undercooked, contaminated or improperly stored food. You acknowledge and accept these risks. You are solely responsible for deciding whether a recipe is suitable for you, your household and your equipment; the safe use of your stove, oven, grill, deep-fryer, knives, appliances and other equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions; supervising children and anyone else in the kitchen; choosing, checking and handling ingredients safely, including washing produce, storing food correctly and avoiding cross-contamination; and cooking food to a safe internal temperature and checking it is properly cooked before serving.

3. Times, temperatures and quantities are guides only

Cooking times, temperatures, quantities, oven settings and the timing cues shown against each step are practical guides. Results vary with your ingredients, cuts, thickness, equipment, altitude and technique. Use colour, texture and a food thermometer as the final check, not the clock. Where a recipe gives a safe internal temperature, treat it as the minimum. If you are unsure whether food is cooked through, cook it longer or discard it.

4. Allergies, intolerances and dietary needs

The App's dietary labels (such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, high-protein and low-carb) and its ingredient lists are generated from the recipe data and are provided for convenience only. They may be incomplete or inaccurate, and they do not account for cross-contamination, brand-specific ingredients, hidden ingredients or substitutions. You are solely responsible for checking every ingredient and product label for allergens, intolerances, religious or ethical requirements and suitability before preparing or eating any dish. If you have a food allergy or medical condition, do not rely on the App's labels.

5. Nutrition information is an estimate

Calorie figures and any other nutritional information are approximate estimates calculated from typical ingredient values and standard serving sizes. They are not laboratory-tested, will not match your actual ingredients or portions, and must not be used for medical, clinical or weight-management purposes.

6. Not medical, nutritional or dietary advice

Nothing in the App is medical, health, nutritional or dietary advice. Always consult a qualified health professional before changing your diet or if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are cooking for infants, the elderly, or anyone who is immunocompromised.

7. Accuracy of recipes

We take care to research recipes and cross-check them against established classic recipes and reputable cooking references, but we do not warrant that any recipe, ingredient list, quantity, timing, technique or description is accurate, complete, current or will produce a particular result. Recipes are tested in ordinary home kitchens, not commercially.

8. Your Australian Consumer Law rights are protected

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Limitation of liability

Subject to clause 8 and to the maximum extent permitted by law:

(a) the App and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", and we exclude all warranties, conditions, guarantees and representations not expressly set out in these Terms, whether express or implied;

(b) we are not liable to you or anyone else for any loss, damage, injury, illness, cost or expense (including any indirect, consequential or special loss, loss of data, or property damage) arising out of or in connection with your use of, or reliance on, the App or any recipe, guidance, timing, temperature, label or estimate in it, including any accident, injury or illness occurring in the course of preparing, cooking, storing or eating food;

(c) where any law implies a guarantee, condition or warranty that cannot be excluded but permits liability to be limited, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the App or paying the cost of having it resupplied; and

(d) our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with the App is limited to the amount (if any) you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Licence and acceptable use

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You must not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, extract or redistribute the App or its recipe database, use the App for any unlawful purpose, or use it in any way that could damage or impair it.

Individual recipes are adapted from widely published classic dishes. You may use recipes for your own cooking but may not republish or sell the App's content.

12. Privacy

The App runs entirely on your device. It does not require an account and does not send your ingredients, searches or favourites to us or to anyone else. Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.

13. Changes, availability and support

We may update, change or remove features or recipes, and may update these Terms, at any time. The version shown in the App or at our website when you use the App applies. We aim to keep the App working but do not guarantee that it will be available, uninterrupted or error-free. Support is provided by us, not Apple, by email at hello@onelastjob.tech.

(g) Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, may enforce them against you.

15. Termination

We may suspend or end your licence to use the App if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the Federal Court of Australia. If any part of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, that part is read down or severed and the rest continues to apply.
